Project summary

'This project invests in the future generation by providing proper pediatric cardiac care for children from developing countries. These children and their families would otherwise not be able to afford such a medical procedure.

How

Save a Child's Heart brings the children from developing countries for pediatric cardiac treatment in Israel at the Wolfson Medical Center (WMC). The Pediatric Cardiology Unit at the WMC is run by SACH cardiologists and is responsible for the examination of all SACH pediatric cardiac patients. The Pediatric Cardiology Unit is currently in need of an echocardiograph machine. The echocardiograph machine is an important diagnostic tool that takes ultra sound images of the heart.

Why (Project owners drive)

Sara Mucznik joined Save a Child’s Heart as the marketing manager in May 2011. In January 2009, she made Alyiah from Lisbon, Portugal, where she was very involved with the Jewish Community. Prior to Save a Child’s Heart, Sara worked for 2 years in a High Tech Israeli start up, as the marketing director. Sara holds a bachelor of Business Management from Lisbon University.
