Goal summary

To produce and sell 350 T-shirts that are designed by 20 children in Flores, Indonesia. By selling these uniquely designed T shirts, funds will be raised to renovate the SDK Pusu school.

Currently, the school is in need of renovations so that the students have a safer and more comfortable learning environment.

How

The funds of this project will be used to finance the production of our T-shirt collection which is out now. All the money raised through sales of these T-shirts will be used to renovate the school of SDK Pusu, so 156 kids can enjoy their courses in a safe and healthy environment. We will fix the walls and plaster, replace window frames, and build proper roofing and flooring. We will also install toilets, and ensure proper water and sanitation facilities.

Phases

  1. T-shirt collection

    • In this phase we produce and sell the T-shirt collection. The costs for the production of the T-shirts is 1500 euro. Together with our previous raised funds of 15000 euro, we are able to start the renovation more quickly. This is necessary because the renovation needs to be planned before the rainy season comes in (October).

  2. Renovation of school

    • With the 28.000 euros funding raised we perform the following activities: Classroom Renovation (23.000 euro): 1. Walls and plaster 2. Window frames, windows and ceilings 3. Roofing 4. Flooring Toilets, water and sanitations (2000 euro): 1. Ceramic tiles 2. Toilet rooms 3. Drainage
