Why
'This project invests in the future generation by providing proper pediatric cardiac care for children from developing countries. These children and their families would otherwise not be able to afford such a medical procedure.
How
Save a Child's Heart brings the children from developing countries for pediatric cardiac treatment in Israel at the Wolfson Medical Center (WMC). The Pediatric Cardiology Unit at the WMC is run by SACH cardiologists and is responsible for the examination of all SACH pediatric cardiac patients. The Pediatric Cardiology Unit is currently in need of an echocardiograph machine. The echocardiograph machine is an important diagnostic tool that takes ultra sound images of the heart.
What
To purchase a new echocardiograph machine that would enable high-level examinations, including fetal ultrasound, benefiting Save A Childs Heart patients from developing countries.
