Why
The township of Blikkiesdorp presents the full array of difficulties for young people to succeed in life – high crime rates and low employment opportunities. The lack of opportunity and positive role models creates a downstream, however, this project will transform closed doors into open opportunities.
How
Money will be invested in educating the youngsters on how best to cultivate their talents. Professionals will guide and lead them in order for these youngsters to themselves be the teaching talent of tomorrow for generations of youths who follow in their footsteps.
What
Train 60 bright and creative teenagers to become tomorrow’s teaching talent within their own townships and be an example of opportunity.

Project Partner
The project ‘Get It Done in a day’ is wonderful because we can do what we do best – making great films – and doing it together with the local community. Dutch film makers work together with aspiring South African filmmakers and youngsters of various townships to create the campaign. We can use our talent and skills to help their talents and help them move forward in this world.
